$12,630 yr

Serve rural communities while gaining vital experience. Open positions include cultural arts coordination and events (sites include Mountain Arts District, Tucker Co Cultural District Authority, ArtSpring), regional community and tourism development (Elkins Main Street,  Eastern WV Regional Community Development and Tourism Development postions), historic sites (Nicholas County Old Main, Beverly Heritage Center), historic preservation development (Woodlands Development Group), and hands-on historic preservation team. Positions are located in Elkins and adjoining counties of West Virginia, in the midst of beautiful mountains, outstanding recreational opportunities, and rich community heritage. 

College degree or relevant experience preferred. We are seeking members with commitment and initiative to be a part of our dynamic team. You will gain valuable real-life experience for your career, and get an education award of $5815 upon completion of the year of service. A joint service / Masters program is also an option for eligible candidates.
