Springfield Preservation and Revitalization Council (SPAR) is now hiring an Executive Director. The organization was established in 1974 to serve Jacksonville's Springfield historic district neighborhood, a one square mile residential and commercial area just north of Downtown. SPAR works with City of Jacksonville, developers, organizations and individuals to help build and preserve its unique community through advocacy, events and education. Today, the neighborhood is in the midst of an exciting transformation, with many opportunities and a recently completed strategic plan.
