How would you like to act as Program Manager for the Minnesota Department of Transportations (MnDOTs) Historic Roadside Properties (HRP) Program; manage MnDOTs unique set of historic roadside property assets and provide technical expertise for the Historic Roadside Structures (HRS) Program including program administration, historic restoration construction, research and training?  At MnDOT we will provide you with a lot of variety but also stability allowing you freedom to prioritize your family life.  Our work is interesting. In this position you will bring professional expertise in areas of project planning; technical site planning; preliminary and detailed site design; preparation of construction documents; organize and coordinate work activities related to individual projects and to HRP Program development.  In this position you will also:


·       Coordinate project delivery documentation, allocation and supervision of technical resources, contract management, maintenance of investment plan, program vision and objectives, project priorities related to site historical significance, maintenance of historic property database, funding acquisition;

·         Manage project teams;

·         Participate as a member of project design teams;

·         Review and provide comment on department-prepared and consultant-prepared design and construction document;

·         Serve as a technical resource for MnDOT Central Office and District Staff regarding HRP projects;

·         Provide typical landscape architectural construction observation services;

·         Administer projects within a statewide scope;

·         Collaborate with MnDOT Districts and other specialty offices to provide guidance, support and training in the restoration and maintenance of MnDOTs historic properties.
