Building Hugger

Building Hugger is a Detroit-based, woman owned preservation trades organization specializing in historic window restoration.

Professional Opportunity
Detroit, MI

Building Hugger is looking to add FIELD & SHOP CREW to our ever growing team! We are a young company with an old soul, reviving old school craftsmanship and historic architectural beauties one window at a time. As a band of skilled historic window restoration specialists dedicated to our craft and hellbent on dispelling vinyl window myths, we have forged a reputation as one of the Detroit area's go-to window restoration resources.

No two projects are ever alike, so we need people that can use creative problem solving to think on their feet and work with their hands. We have built a value driven, knowledge-based business around a skilled team of huggers, and we're looking to build our crew to meet the demand!

Experience in a related construction/maker/craft/art based field a plus. We will train you in the specifics. Must work well in a team environment. Ideal candidates are seeking a career in historic trades.
