The Tennessee Department of Transportation is currently hiring full-time Environmental Studies Specialists for our Historic Preservation office in Nashville.

 Responsibilities

  • Review proposed transportation projects and determine the level of
  • documentation needed to ensure compliance with Section 106 and Section
  • 4(f)
  • Coordinate with TDOT staff and external stake holders
  • Conduct statewide field work for assigned projects in a professional
  • manner that utilizes the most up-to-date methodologies to ensure
  • resources are accurately identified.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One year of full-time professional environmental program, environmental studies or cultural resources experience
