A..D. Marble is seeking a highly motivated Architectural Historian to carry out Section 106 related studies across the Mid-Atlantic region. Candidates should have a MA or MS degree in Architectural History, Historic Preservation or closely related field, and two years practical experience with Section 106 compliance. Candidates with a BA, strong preservation training, and at least 4 years of experience will also be considered.
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting historic structure and landscape surveys and completing Historic Resources Surveys, State and Federal Survey Forms, Determinations of Eligibility, and Effect Reports, as well as HABS/HAER Documentations. Position requires knowledge of Mid-Atlantic regional architectural history; photography; the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time; interaction with clients, government agencies, and the public; and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.
The position will require frequent travel in the Mid-Atlantic States. This is a part-time regular position with the potential to become a full-time position (with benefits), to be based in either our King of Prussia or Camp Hill, PA office. Salary is commensurate with experience.
