Secretary of the Interior qualified Architectural Historian

 

R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc., a cultural resource management firm with a nationwide practice across the preservation disciplines, has an immediate opening for a Secretary of the Interior qualified (36 CFR Part 61, Appendix A) Architectural Historian in our New Orleans, Louisiana office.  Candidates must possess 5 years of experience in the field, applied knowledge of American architectural history, and working knowledge of preservation practice. Experience in architectural survey and Section 106 compliance are highly desirable. Ability to travel, strong research and writing skills, and ability to work collaboratively on inter-disciplinary project teams are essential.

 

This is a full time, salaried, professional position with full benefits package (paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave; medical, dental, and life insurance; and a liberal 401(k) plan).  Salary is competitive and commensurate with educational and professional experience. Opportunity for advancement to significant management responsibilities is available for the right candidate.
