The City of Steamboat Springs has an excellent opportunity to join our Planning department as a Historic Preservation Planner.

 

This position is a mid-level professional planner and performs a variety of routine and moderately complex administrative, technical and professional work in the historic preservation and development review programs of the City related to the development and implementation of land use and historic preservation policies, urban design, zoning, development standards, development review, and permitting processes.

 

This individual works under the general supervision of the Planning and Community Development Director when assigned to Historic Preservation functions of the Department. Works under the general supervision of the Principal Planner when assigned to Development Review function of the Department. May take direction from the Senior Planner.

 

This position will not begin before January of 2020.
