The Cultural Landscape Foundation and the New York Botanical Garden are pleased to announce the first in a series of Regional Symposia, Shaping the American Landscape: New York City and the Region. National speakers will provide a context for some of the most celebrated landscapes in New York City and the immediate region including Central Park, Battery Park, Riverside Park Shoreline and Promenade, and the Merritt Parkway among others. Speakers will explore the lives and built legacies of the designers and stewards of nationally significant historic designed landscapes ranging from estates and subdivisions to parks and scenic reservations.

We anticipate ASLA CEUs will be available.
